Day 47: Such a beautiful day!

Perjantai alko reippaasti reissulla kalakauppaan, joka on tossa korttelin päässä! Käytiin hakemassa takuutuoretta lohta. Otettiin kaks medaljonkia jotka myyjä leikkas siitä kalasta meidän silmien edessä. Tavaraa oli semmoset 530g ja hinta 6,90€. Ei voi kun hymyillä ja ihmetellä:) Emmi kävi vielä varaamassa illaks ajan kynsien laittamiseen, kotona laitettiin kala jääkaappiin ja lähettiin saman tien pitkälle kävelylenkille! Ennen kun lähettiin, sanoin Emmille että käydäänpä kokeilemassa pääseekö meidän talon katolle (oltiin aiemmin käyty ja todettu että sinne tarvii avaimen jota meillä ei ole). Ja ovi olikin auki! Toivottavasti se ei ollu vaan huoltomiehen moka, vaan että näin kesäaikaan sinne pääsis aina. Siellä pystyis kuivattaa hyvin pyykkejä ja tietysti ottaa aurinkoa ;) Kivuttiin portaat takasin alas ja lähdettiin matkaan. Keli oli aivan mahtava, mulle tuli jopa lenkkipaidasta rajat! Tein hienon kartan teille josta näkyy meiän reitti, ja google mapsin mukaan reitti oli aika tasan 9km pitkä, eli ihan kiva:) Pari tuntia meillä meni valokuvaustauot mukaan lukien ;)

Tässä näkyy hyvin espanjalainen rakennustyyli. Edestä talot on nättejä, takapuolelta ei niinkään / Here you can see clearly the Spanish way of building houses. The front is beautiful, the back not that much

ihanat portaat / THE stairs

Our Friday started with a breezy attitude! First we went to a fish store one block away from our home and bought some fresh salmon. Two salmon medallions, 530g, 6,90€. Got to love the prices!:) Emmi went also to a beauty place to make a time reservation for nail thingys, at home we put the fish to the fridge and left immediately for a long walk! In the stairway I said to Emmi that maybe we should check if we can go to the roof (we had already tried a few days ago but the door was locked and we didn't have the right key) and it was open! I hope it was not a mistake made by the serviceman and that it will be open now at summer time. We could dry our laundry there and of course tan ;) So, back downstairs and off we went. The weather was amazing and I even got a little bit tanned! I made a super awesome map for you to see the route we went and according to Google Maps it was 9km long. It took as around two hours including a few breaks to take some photos;)

Lenkin jälkeen vähän venyteltiin ja suihkun jälkeen alettiin laittaa ruokaa. Kumpikaan ei ollu ennen tommosia medaljonkeja paistanu, mutta ne onnistu täydellisesti! Lisukkeeks paistettiin perunoita ja porkkanaa (jotka vähän kärähti meidän mahtavien paistinpannujen ansiosta <3) ja kalalle tehtiin kerma-sipuli-valkosipuli-sitruuna-mössö:P NAM!

After the long walk we did some stretching and started to cook. Neither of us had ever fried salmon medallions but  we nailed it! We fried some potatoes and carrots too (and thanks to our not-so-awesome frying pans they burned a little) and for the fish we made a creamy onion-garlic-lemon sauce:P Yam!

Pienen siestan jälkeen alettiin valmistautumaan Teemun 25-vuotis synttäreille! Kymmenen aikaan saavuttiin La Oveja Negra (musta lammas) nimiseen pubiin. Sisälle mentiin tosi matalasta ovesta ja sisällä aukes tosi kiva, vähän kellarityyppinen kapakka. Muu seurue oli jo ehtiny tilata 5 litran sangria tonkan joka makso 30€. Halvemmallakin täällä saa sangriaa, mutta toi oli ehdottomasti parasta mitä oon tähän mennessä missään maistanu. Myöhemmin tilattiin vielä toinen (meitä oli siis varmaan 15hlö seurue) ja pullo "Pantterin Maitoa" joka maistu vähän Marianne-drinkille. Paikka oli ihan tositosi kiva, varmasti mennään toistekin. Puolen yön jälkeen lähettiin kävellen Barcelonetaan ja "Barcelonan parhaaseen yökerhoon" Opiumiin. Paikka oli joo  ihan kiva, musiikki hyvää ja näin mutta todellisuus iski baaritiskillä. Sovittiin Emmin kanssa että juodaan baarissa vaan alkoholittomia juomia, koska huomiseksi oli luvattu hyvää ilmaa eikä haluttu tuhlata sitä krapulaan. Mentiin tiskille, otettiin yksi (1) 2dl pullo vettä ja yksi (1) pullo-cocis. Hinta, 11 euroa. Ei kauheesti naurattanut.. No, jorailtiin kuitenkin johonkin neljään asti, otettiin taksi paikallisen snägärin eli patonkipaikan kautta kotiin. Kokonaisuudessaan oikein onnistunut ilta:)

After a little siesta we started to prepare ourselves for Teemu's 25th birthday party. Around 10pm we arrived to a pub named La Oveja Negra (the black sheep). To enter the pub you had to go through a low door and inside it was the old, cellar-type pub. The others had already ordered a 5 L sangria for 30€. You can find cheaper sangria here too, but this was by far the best that I have ever tried. Later we ordered another one (we were around 15 people) and a bottle of "Panther's Milk" which tasted like a mint-milk-drink. The place was super nice and we are definitely going back someday! After midnight we started to walk to Barceloneta and "the best night club in Barcelona", Opium. The place was ok, music was good but the reality hit us in the actual bar. We had made a plan with Emmi to only drink non-alcoholic drinks at the club because the weather would be nice tomorrow and we didn't want to waste it in hangover. We ordered one (1) 2dl bottle of water and one glass bottle of Coke. Price: 11€... Well, anyway we danced until 4am, took a taxi home via a bocatella place. As a whole, such a great night!:)
