On the road: Day 50: Nada especial

Maanantaina ei tapahtunut oikeestaan mitään erikoista. Aamulla käytiin taas juoksemassa ja laitettiin ruuaksi ite marinoitua hunajakanaa, perunoita, halloumin tapasta grillijuustoa ja avokadosalaattia. Koulussa financea (bläääääh inhoon tota kurssia) ja espanjaa, missä olinki tällä kertaa hyvä! Olin ainut joka oli tajunnu miten läksyt pitää tehdä ja maikkakin vähän ihmetteli kun yhtäkkiä osasinkin vastaukset kaikkeen mistä en viikko sitten tajunnu mitään :D Illalla tehtiin patongit (ollaan hyvin sisäistetty tää paikallinen bocatella kulttuuri haha) ja sitä rataa.

Nothing special happened on Monday. In the morning we went running again and cooked chicken marinated in honey, potatoes, halloumi kind of cheese and avocado salad for lunch. At school we had finance (blaaah I really hate the course) and Spanish where I suddenly knew everything. I was the only one who had known how to do our homework and the teacher was kind of surprised of my skills too. Sudden.y I knew all the things that I couldn't even understand last week haha. In the evening we made baguettes (we have adopted the Spanish bocatella culture quite well :P) and so on.

Koska oikeesti ei oo muuta kerrottavaa, ajattelin että "esittelen" vähän meidän kämppää. Tosiaan osote on Carrer de Viladomat 56 niin voitte stalkkailla Google Mapsista. Talossa on kuusi kerrosta ja me ollaan ylimmässä ja sitä hissiähän ei ole. Sisälle tultaessa ensin tulee loogisesti eteinen, joka on semmosella pitkällä, melkein koko asunnon läpi menevällä käytävällä. Kun mennään käytävän vasempaan päähän, tulee Kontxin ja mun isot parvekkeelliset huoneet, seuraavaksi siivouskomero ja Emmin pienempi huone. Kun jatketaan käytävää eteisen ohi toiseen suuntaan, tulee vielä toinen pieni makkari ja kylpyhuone+wc. Vielä tän jälkeen tulee yksi makkari, mutta se on niin pieni ja ikkunaton (tai on siellä ikkuna olohuoneeseen :D) ettei siellä kukaan asu. Käytävän päässä on isohko olohuone + ruokailutila, missä on parveke ja ovi keittiöön. Kokonaisuudessaan siis 5 makuuhuonetta (7 sänkyä, mulla ja Kontxilla kummankin huoneessa 2), olohuone, keittiö, kylppäri ja parvekkeet. Hinta on 850€ + kulut joita maksetaan nyt 160€ kuussa. Kesäkuun lopussa noi kulut tasataan, ja jos ollaan käytetty alle ton 160€ kuussa, saadaan rahaa takasin. Vastaavasti, jos käytetään enemmän kun nyt maksetaan, rahat otetaan meidän takuuvuokrasta. Nyt kun meitä asuu kolme täällä, vuokra kuussa on 336€/hlö mutta 1.4. myös Birte muuttaa tänne, jolloin vuokra on vaan 252€/hlö. Ihan ok hintanen siis. Kämppä on myös tosi hyvällä alueella, n. 15min kävely kouluun, 20min kävellen keskustaan, 15min kävellen satamaan, about 40min kävellen rannalle. Tähän mennessä kaikki on mennyt paremmin kun hyvin, kämppikset on ihania ja ongelmia ei ole ollut!

Because basically nothing happened on today, I thought I could give a little tour in our apartment. So the address is Carrer de Viladomat 56 so you can stalk on Google Maps. The house has 6 floors and we are on the top floor and like I've said earlier, no elevator. First when you enter the flat you will come to the hall, logically. Actually it's a very long hall way which goes almost through the whole apartment. When you go to the left end of the hall way you'll find Kontxi's and my big rooms. Next there's a little cleaning closet and then Emmi's smaller room. Then, when you pass the hall and continue the hall way you'll find one more smaller bedroom, the bathroom and one really small windowless bedroom (or actually it has a little window to the living room) where naturally no one lives. In the end of the hall way there's the living room + dining room and a door to the kitchen. In total, 5 bedrooms (7 beds, there are two beds in both of the bigger bedrooms), living room, kitchen, bathroom and balconies.The price is 850€ + expenses which are now 160€/month. In the end of June the bills will be evened out and if we haven't used that much electricity/gas/water, we will get money back. And the other way around, if we use more, they will take the money from the deposit. So now that we are three, the price is 336€/person but in the beginning of April Birte moves in and then the rent is 252€/person. So the price is affordable. The location is good: 15min walk to school, 20min walk to the center, 15min walk to the harbour and around 40min walk to the beach. So far everything has gone perfectly, my roommates are wonderful and we hadn't had any problems at all!:)
