Days 145-150: Last days in Barcelona

15.-20.6.13

Nyt tulee ihan pikapikapäivitys vikoista päivistä Barcelonassa niin pääsen sitten seuraavaks päivittelemään täältä reililtäkin jotain! Eli paljon kuvia ja vähän tekstiä tällä kertaa;)

This is the quickest post ever: a lot of pictures and a little bit of text! The next post will be about the Interrail!;)

15.6. mentiin Riikan kanssa rannalle ja siellä oli ihme sumu?? Ei näkyny mitään about 20m jälkeen.. vähän ajan päästä sumu kuitenkin katos ja tilalle tuli paahtavan kuuma ja tuuleton ilma! / On 15.6. we went to the beach with Riikka and there was a really weird fog?? Couldn't see further than 20m but after a while it went away and it was replaced by a hot and windless weather!

15.6. koomailtiin kotona ja yhtäkkiä kuulu kauheet rummutukset ulkoota, ja tottakai siellä oli joku paraati taas meneillään. Pienet lapset heilu tommosten isojen tähtisädetikkujen kanssa, ei ehkä Suomessa onnistuis.. No, ei menny aikaakaan niin tuli kauhee katku: yks noista soihduista oli sytyttäny auton palamaan!!!!!!! Onneks tilanteesta selvittiin suht vaarattomasti, autosta vähän vaan suli osia... / On 16.6. we were chilling at home when we heard some drumming outside and of course  there was some kind of a parade going on. Little kids ran around with huuuuge "fireworks", would never happen in Finland. Well, it didn't take long until the air was filled with smoke because one of the fireworks lighted up a car!!!!!!! Fortunately nothing too bad happened, only the car got a little bit melted haha...

Sunnuntaina 16.6. mentiin jo iltapäivästä Riikan ja Birten kanssa Montjuiciin koska siellä järjestettiin Piknik Elektronik eli nimensä mukaisesti elektro-picnic. Hyvää musaa, aurinkoinen lämmin ilma, ihania kavereita ja muita ihmisiä... Hiveli aikalailla täydellistä kesäpäivää! Picnicin jälkeen sekoiltiin ympäri montjuicia ja mentiin vielä kattomaan Magic Fountainiakin.

On Sunday 16.6. me, Birte and Riikka headed to Montjuic to Picnic Elektronik. Good music, great sunny weather, lovely friends and a lot of people... Pretty close to a perfect summer day :) After the picnic we just wandered around Montjuic and ended up at Magic Fountain.

Maanantaina lähettiin Riikan kanssa Annaa juna-asemalle vastaan ja samalla vedettiin pieni nähtävyyskierros. Asemalla huomattiin että juna on myöhässä, joten eihän me nyt voitu tehä mitään muuta kun mennä kaljalle :D

On Monday we went to the railway station with Riikka to get Anna and on the way there we did some sightseeing. At the station we saw that the train is late, so of course we couldn't do anything else than go for a beer :D 

Riikka puistossa / Riikka in a park 

Tiistaina jatkettiin nähtävyyksien pällistelyä: käytiin La Sagrada Familian pihassa, parin Gaudi talon ulkopuolella (sisään ois maksanu 16,5€ wtf...) ja haettiin wokit mukaan Parc de la Ciutadellaan. 

On Tuesday we continued the sightseeing tour: we went to see La Sagrada Familia from outside and two Gaudi houses as well (it would've cost 16,5€ to get in, wtf.....) and then bought some takeaway food and went to Parc de la Ciutadella. 

Keskiviikkona oltiin taas rannalla koko päivä. Illalla piti mennä vielä raflaan syömään mutta suunnitelmat muuttu kun mun ja Birten piti vielä viimeistellä yks kouluhomma joka sitte venähtiki yli puolen yön. Otettiin lopuksi palkkioksi oluet. :D

On Wednesday we went to the beach and spent the whole day there. In the evening we were supposed to go to a restaurant but me and Birte had to finish a school project and it took longer than we thought.. After finishing it we celebrated it with a few beers. :D

Torstaina aamulla Birte lähti kotiin :( me sitte masennuttiin eikä tehty oikeesti mitään ennen tyyliin kello viittä. Sit ryhdistäydyttiin ja pakattiin ja tarkastettiin vielä vikat junat sun muut. Illalla käytiin vielä vikan kerran kattomassa Magic Fountain, koska Anna ei ollu sitä vielä nähnyt. Nukkumaan meno veny aika paljon ja muutettiin siinä sitten seuraavan päivän matkasuunnitelmiakin vähän, sitten jännittyneenä ja innostuneena vikaa kertaa Barcelonassa nukkumaan!

On Thursday morning Birte left:( we got depressed and didn't do anything before maybe 5pm. Then packing and checking some trains. In the evening we went to the Magic Fountain once again because Anna hadn't seen it yet. We went quite late to bed and even changed our interrail plan a little, then to bed for the last time in Barcelona, exciting!!!

Days 141-144: Exams and farewell again

11.-14.6.13.

Tiistaina oli sitten viimeset tentit: global economics ja rästiin maanantailta jäänyt espanjan tentti. Kai mä ne läpi pääsin. Tähän mennessä oon muuten saanut tulokset espanjasta, doing business in spainista ja financesta ja kaikki meni kunnialla läpi, muita odotellessa. Keskiviikko ja torstai meni rannalla kölliessä ja vikalla shoppailukierroksella. Perjantaiaamuna käytiin vielä vikaa ja mun ekaa kertaa brunssilla Federalissa. Siivottiin ja äkkiä olikin sitten taxi jo pihassa ja lähettiin Emmin kanssa kohti lentokenttää. Emmi lähti siis kohti koti Suomea ja samalla reissulla hain Riikan meille! Tultiin Riken kanssa tähän meille eikä tehty mitään sen kummempaa kun vaihdettiin 5 kuukauden kuulumiset, haha. Matka alkaa muuten huomenna, huisia!!

On Tuesday I had the last exams: Global economics and Spanish that I missed on Monday. I think I passed.. At least Spanish, Doing Business in Spain and Finance I passed because I got the grades already. Wednesday and Thursday we spent at the beach and shopping for the last time here. On Friday morning we went to Federal for the last time (and I for the first time) to have a brunch and after it we cleaned a little and packed of course. Time flew and soon it was time to take the taxi to the airport. There s aid goodbye to Emmi who went to Finland already and at the same time I picked up my friend Riikka! We came to our place and didn't do much more than caught up after 5 months haha. And by the way, THE trip starts tomorrow!!!

Days 134-140: Exams & Finland

3.-10.6.13

Maanantaina alkoi sitten kauan pelätyt tentit. Maanantaina rahoitus meni loistavasti kaikkien odotusten vastaisesti, tiistaina markkinointi ihan ok, keskiviikkona doing business in spain myös ihan ok ja torstaina leadership myös ihan ok. Keskiviikko meni myös pakkaillessa, koska torstaina lähdin suoraan koulusta lentokentälle ja Suomeen. Ihan kiva reissu joo: yölento, parin tunnin unilla 500km autoilua, yks yö hotellissa, hautajaiset, yks yö sukulaisten luona, 500km autoilua takasin, yks yö kotona ja päivällä lentokentälle ja takasin Barcelonaan. Tottakai oli ihana nähdä sukulaisia vaikkakin surullisissa merkeissä, mutta otti aika koville toi reissaaminen. Ja ois vielä pitäny tentteihinkin lukea, joopajoo.. Pakkauksessa meni aikansa koska vein jo aika paljon tavaraa Suomeen mitä en enää täällä/reilillä tarvii. Maanantaina siis tulin takasin tänne Barcelonaan erittäin väsyneenä ja huojentuneena..

On Monday started the exams that we have been afraid of. On Monday finance went excellent, on Tuesday marketing ok, on Wednesday doing business in spain also ok and on Thursday leadership more or less ok. Wednesday was also a packing day because on Thursday after the exam I went straight to the airport and flew to Finland. Such a nice trip: night flight, a few hours of sleep and 500km in a car, one night in a hotel, a funeral, one night at our cousins' place, 500km in a car, one night home and then back to Barcelona. Of course it was lovely to see some family even though the occasion wasn't the best, but it really was a hard trio for me. And I also would've had to study but yeah... Also the packing on Wednesday took a while because I already took a lot of stuff to Finland that I don't need here anymore or during the interrail. So, on Monday I came home to Barcelona preeetty tired but still relieved.. 

Keskiviikkona haettiin taas kebabit ja huomasin tän "hienon" maalauksen ... /  On Wednesday we bought some  kebab again and I saw this cool painting there hah

Days 131-133: The beach & farewell

31.5.-2.6.

Perjantaina ei tapahtunut oikeestaan mitään muuta kun että David muutti meille pariks päiväks asumaan. Lauantaina oli tosi kuuma ilma, joten lähettiin sitten rannalle löllimään. Ajateltiin mennä bussilla mutta tottakai koko Parallel oli suljettu, siellä oli jotkut katufestarit. Pyörittiin siinä hetki ja käveltiin loppujen lopuksi sinne rannalle jossa Susu ja Teemu meitä jo odottelikin. Vietettiin siellä koko päivä ja illalla kokoonnuttiin kavereiden kanssa meille viettämään Davidin viimestä Barcelona-iltaa. Pidettiin sama teema kuin meidän ekoissa yhteisissä illanistujaisissa, eli jokainen toi pientä tapasta mukanaan:) oli oikein ihania herkkuja ja ihana ilta, ei edes lähdetty mihinkään jatkamaan kun juttu luisti paremmin kun hyvin kotosallakin. Sunnuntaina David sitten aamulla lähti kohti kotia, olipas haikeeta. Ihan jo se fakta että David tosiaan lähti, ja ettei sitä tule ihan heti näkemään, oli haikeeta mutta samalla myös tajus että tässähän alkaa olla meidän muidenkin vaihto aika loppusuoralla...

On Friday we didn't do much, the only bigger thing that happened was that David moved in for a couple of nights before leaving Barcelona. Saturday was a really hot day so we headed to the beach and had a real relaxing day. We were supposed to take the bus there but of course there was some kind of a street festival on Parallel so we couldn't. We wandered around there for a while and then walked to the beach where Susu and Teemu already waited for us. In the evening we all gathered to our place with some friends to have David's farewell "party." We did it the same way as the first get-together we had had: everyone brought some tapas with them. The food was delicious and the whole night was amazing. We had so much fun just at our place that we didn't even go out. On Sunday David then left, super sad. Only the fact that he went home and that we wont see him soon is sad, but also it made us realize that all of ours exchanges are also coming to an end soon..

Days 129&130: David's Farewell Drinks

29.-30.5.13

Torstaina tajuttiin koulussa että onmpas muuten viimenen luento tältä erää! Räpsästiin sen kunniaks pari kuvaa. Illemmalla lähettiin Davidin farewell drinksuille hauskaan pieneen "Dow Jones" nimiseen pubiin. Homma toimi niinkun pörssi, juomien hinnat muuttu kysynnän mukaan. Välillä tuli pörssiromahdus, jolloin parin minuutin ajan kaikki oli halpaa haha. Istuskeltiin siellä jonkun aikaa ennen kun lähettiin kotiin. Onneks ei ollut vielä kuitenkaan hyvästien aika:)

On Thursday we realized at school that it was the last class here in Barcelona! We took a few pictures to celebrate it haha. In the evening we went to a pub called "Dow Jones" for David's farewell drinks. The pub worked like the stock market: the prices of the drinks changed based on the demand. At times the stock crashed and everything was cheap haha. We sat there for some time and then walked home. Fortunately we didn't have to say goodbye quite yet :)
