Day 166: Vienna part 2

Seuraava aamu alko jo virkeemmissä merkeissä. Syötiin hostellilla omat aamupalat ja lähettiin keskustaan jatkamaan nähtävyyksien läpikäyntiä :P Alotettiin kirpparilta, käytiin taas yhellä kirkolla, mutta sinne ei päässytkään sisään joten jatkettiin matkaa. Käytiin vähän jopa shoppailemassa, jee! Jonkun aikaa kun oltiin pyöritty keskustassa, lähettiin syömään. Käytiin australialaisessa ravintolassa ja ei hyvää päivää sitä ruuan määrää!! Sieltä lähettiin kohti KunstHausia jossa oli Linda McCartneyn valokuvanäyttely esillä. Tällä kertaa meni valinta ihan nappiin, tykättiin kaikki tosi paljon! Kuvissa oli 2 eri teemaa: Lindan kuvaamat kuuluisat ihmiset (The Beatles, Jimi Hendrix, Michael Jackson etc) ja perhe (eli siis Paul ja lapset). Saatiin vielä opiskelija-alennus niin ei ollut kalliskaan, 8€ :) Näyttelystä käveltiin läheiseen huvipuistoon fiilistelemään, muttei käyty missään laitteissa kuitenkaan. Sieltä metrolla takasin keskustaan ja Hotel Sacheriin syömään alkuperäisreseptillä valmistettua Sacher-kakkua! Olihan se hyvää, ja ei nyt _niin_ kallista kun ois voinu olla. Pala kakkua oli 4,8€. Seuraavaksi suunnattiin takasin hostellille missä meitä odottikin pieni yllätys: ihmettelin kun en millään meinannu saada meidän huoneen ovea auki, kunnes ovi avataan huoneen sisältä ja meitä iloisesti moikkaa parikymppinen espanjalainen mies. Jee. Uus kämppis meidän private huoneessa (tai näin me oltiin ymmärretty). Ei siinä mitään, oli tosi kiva tyyppi ja näin mutta meille ei oltu kerrottu mitään tästä uudesta asukista. Meillä oli kaikki tavarat ihan levällään ja edellisen päivän pyykit edelleen kuivumassa, joten ei ollu kaverilla varmaan mitenkään hirveen hyvä ensivaikutelma... Noh, oltiin hetki siinä huoneessa ennen kun lähettiin vielä parille oluselle Steffin ja sen kavereiden kanssa ihan meidän hostellin lähelle Oli tosi kivaa, mutta meidän piti lähtee suht aikasin kotiin koska aamulla olis tiedossa taas junailua, jee.....

The next morning started a little bit better than the previous one after a nice long sleep. We had our own breakfast at the hostel and then continued with sightseeing. We started at a flea market, then we visited one church again but we couldn't enter it so we went further. We even did some shopping, yay! After walking around for a couple of hours we went for lunch in an Australian restaurant. We ate so much that I can't believe we did it! From there we continued to the KunstHaus where they had Linda McCartney's exhibition. This time we chose perfectly: we all really enjoyed it! The pics had two themes: famous people she photographed (The Beatles, Jimi Hendrix, Michael Jackson...) and then her family (Paul and the kids). We even got a student discount so it wasn't that expensive, 8€. After that, we went to an amusement park nearby, just to walk around, didn't take any rides or anything. Then, a metro back to the center and to the Hotel Sacher. There we had pieces of the original Sacher cake, yammie! It wasn't that expensive, a piece of the cake was 4,8€. Could've been more. Next, we headed to the hostel and there was a little surprise for us: I was trying to open the door of our room and suddenly it's opened from inside by a young Spanish guy. Yay. Our new roommate (in our private room, or that's what we thought). Well, what can you do, the guy was really nice so that was not the problem really.. Just that no one told us that there might  be someone coming. And we  had all our stuff all around the room, laundry drying everywhere etc so the guy didn't quite get the best first impression. Anyway, we didn't stay long in the room but went out with Steffi and her friends for a few beers. We had a lot of fun but unfortunately we had to leave quite soon because we would have to catch a train in the morning, yay........
